Soul-Bites Two – 5 Tiny Truths I Carried While Almost Believing Myself

A gentle round-up from the edge of becoming.

This was the week I almost believed myself.
A hush settled after the tremble.
Doubt whispered.
But I stayed.
I gathered what I could — softly.

Here are the truths that stayed with me:

# 1. Doubt doesn’t mean I’m wrong — it means I’m close.

It only shouts when I begin to hear myself
It gets loud when the old scripts lose power.
That ache? That’s the echo of soft rebellion.

“Growth isn’t always a bloom – sometimes it’s the breathe that almost believes”

A J Ashe

# 2. The pause isn’t regression — it’s the breath before the bloom.

Healing isn’t linear, and neither is trust.
Sometimes I need to stop moving to notice how far I’ve come.

“I almost believed I could take up space – even when unsure”

# 3. My fear speaks in familiar voices — but I’m learning to listen differently.

Overthinking, sabotage, self-editing…
They’re not failures.
They’re the protectors that show up first.

“Tender doesn’t mean weak- it means you still feel, even here”

A J Ashe

# 4. I don’t need to feel brave to be brave.

Staying soft in a moment of uncertainty
is the most radical thing I’ve done all week.

“I almost believed my softness held power – even when I trembled”

# 5. Becoming isn’t about being sure. It’s about staying.

Staying with the soft whisper
Staying with the seed.
Staying with myself, even when I’m not sure I believe me yet.

“The quiet truths are the ones that carry us home”
